The house has four (4) bedrooms accommodating a maximum of 9 guests.
We do not accept or have capacity for additional beds, besides baby cots.
Please notify us in advance of your stay for any baby cots and sleeping arrangements that we can assist with.

CHILDREN

Because there are spaces around the house which could be dangerous for young children, we ask parents to be aware, cautious and attending their young children at all times. We provide a baby cot, high chair and a child bed upon request. Please inform us of your children’s ages and sleeping arrangements when booking.

GUESTS WITH MOBILITY ISSUES

PETS

In general we do not allow pets in the house.

NOISE

In respect to our neighbours, we ask that you and your guests keep the noise down after 10pm.

KITCHEN

Also, whilst guests are welcome to take glasses, mugs and plates to their rooms, please return them to the kitchen and pop them in the dishwasher.

Please note that some cooking utensils and serving cutlery made of wood, horn, mother of pearl, other natural material and some synthetic items need to be washed by hand.

With your attention and help the house team will have enough time to spend for the clean and by leaving no food traces ant infestations are avoided.

WIFI

The main house and main terrace, pool area and guest house have been set up with a satellite system to provide wifi throughout the house and terraces. You are welcome to use it liberally but in order to provide a strong connection, we ask you to take devices that are not in use offline.
Throughout the property we have installed multiple hotspots in and outside the house, which you may connect to using the one same password given at check-in. Please note that due to the house’s thick walls the network can fluctuate or cut the connection altogether.

For a stable connection we encourage to work in the Entertainment Room or in the Dining Room at either end of the dining table.
The outdoor marble table receives its signal through the Summer Kitchen wall opening. Please ensure the wifi device is always placed at the opening of the wall.

Should you experience trouble with the connection, refer to our wifi troubleshooting, in the section below, or do get in touch with us right away and do not try to troubleshoot or reset the system without following these instructions (below). In any case do not ever press the reset button.

WIFI TROUBLESHOOTING

The most effective trouble-shooting is by disconnecting only! the power plug of the main device, then each device inside the main and guesthouse for 30 seconds before replugging it.
This process should always be started with the main wifi device in the Entertainment Room first and then move on to the other spots: one in the Living Room, one in the Garden Suite and Tower Suite, one in the Summer Kitchen and Guesthouse.

DIGITAL DETOX

We encourage guests to a digital detox, to go offline, so that Monte da Palmeira is a place to foster relations with friends and family through conversation, creativity and new experiences.
